Why didn't I consult you?

I am super sick of our Diaper champ and it's stinky stinky stinky smell. We have febreezed it to death, bleached it, let it air dry outside but after 1 year of use it is going in the garbage! Which means we need a replacement. I have bought the diaper genie II. Well actually I bought it and the diaper genie II elite but I am going to take the elite one back. I can't tell a difference, but 15 dollars and better marketing.
Anyone have a diaper genie? I am not expecting NO odors, I know it will smell when you open the lid but just sitting around is it a pretty good one?
I can hear you screaming at the computer now- just use a regular trash can and take it out every day. Um- you aren't married to Greg. I would be doing it everyday. And I pick my battles. Right now we have regressed back to not setting the toilet seat back down. WHY WHY right now my dear, when I am up to pee 5 times a night?!
I bought some huggies diaper and they are leaking. Boo. Guess my girl needs pampers.

POP

I feel like a balloon. Deflated, blown up, deflated and now being blown up again. I have not been showing- pretty much at all until this Tuesday. I have popped.
My pants don't fit and thank goodness for Suzanne and her bella bands-which I somehow survived my first pregnancy without. Suzanne is Grady the Nordstrom pirates mom who will never have another child as long as we both shall live amen!
Speaking of POPPING! Guess who had their baby yesterday?! KT GREEN had baby Farrah Kate around 2 PM. Pop on over to their blog and see pictures of her. Unless you hate beautiful people who just gave birth because KT will make you lose your lunch.
Congrats Green and McIver familes on your new family member! She is perfect!

Fun with Gramps

Not sure how many of ya'll know this- but my parents have lived in the same house since 1980. They moved in 6 months after they got married and let's just say... they just won't leave. Don't get me wrong, I would be seriously depressed if they moved, because I know that house so well (or used to until they make so many changes!!) and it is so familiar. It is still "home" :)

Let's see- major renovations:
converted the garage to a storage room converted to a play room/UGA room
New flooring (thank goodness! YELLOW SHAG CARPET!)
Added a room in the attic
Added a laundry room instead of the laundry "closet" :)
Changed the direction of the hallway
Added a closet to the original master bedroom
Built an addition with an enormous bedroom/bathroom and closet.

Which brings us to today- the hall bathroom. It needed some SERIOUS work!! Sarah ripped down the wallpaper last year when it started peeling off. The tile on the floor was a yellow green and the tile on the walls was bright yellow! Blue wallpaper- and underneath a yellow wallpaper (what else?)

It has been in "construction mode" for over a year. mom had a sign on the wall for a long time that said: Once my contractor found out Obama was going to be President he closed his business so he could live off of the government and now I can't find anyone to do the work! Or something along those lines.

Glen- who is very handy has come over to help Greg and my dad with the bathroom- deadline is this Saturday- Thanksgiving at their house.
Don't they look happy? :)

Props

It is so funny what will make Macy laugh hysterically. Take for example- a cotton ball

Standing up like a big girl!

Ah- ornaments!
YEAH!

I need to crop these but my microsoft is being batty. I will picnik some :)

Whatcha' say?

Macy Anne is saying a few words pretty clearly! Not consistantly, mostly repeating- but it is still fun!
Words: Spider, GO, eyes, UH OH, quack, duck, moo, and look! Mom says she is trying to say Tybee- but it just comes out like... umbee. Close enough? :)

Oh- she CAN say MAMA and DADA but she doesn't say it much anymore. She jabbers with strings or letters that I have NO idea what she is saying! :)
OH she is SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Little Pink Riding Hood!

My cousin Anne- whom you may remember from a year ago that gave us bookoos of baby gear- just dropped the mother load of clothes on us Sunday! There are like.... 8+ bags from newborn to 5T! Most of the clothes are ABSOLUTELY adorable!!!!

This pink jacket is a MAJOR HIT!

AHHHH So cute!

She loves it!

Eyeing the tre

Kisses from Dad

They have the same eyes :)

She wants dad's cup of water :)

Names have been changed to protect the guilty!

Guess who found their nose? (Macy)
And guess who found a finger in that nose(That would be me).
Oh boy.

You have to admit it's a LITTLE funny.

Are you OK?!

I have gotten texts, phone calls and emails... UPDATE YOUR BLOG! Are you OK?!! I AM GREAT! Just had nothing much to say, and didn't feel like uploading pictures :)

I got my swine flu shot today! Greg and Macy are getting theirs this week. It hurts right now, and I use to HATE shots, but now that I have had blood drawn- shots are a breeze, SO much better than blood!

Weather here is getting colder- I wish it would hold off until after Thanksgiving but it has a mind of it's own. We are hosting Thanksgiving, and the next week is Macy's birthday party! Lots going on- not enough time!

I forgot!

Shannon reminded me with her comment- Am I still measuring 20 weeks? I was actually measuring 21 weeks 3 days, so off by 6 days. but they said they would not change my due date. That sounds a little more like that I was thinking. I mean- come on a positive pregnancy test at 2 weeks! That is some peoples dream! But it doesn't happen. Anyway, super busy at work, just taking a quick lunch break. Macy is going to the GA Tech v. Duke game tomorrow! Which means, her mom and dad can get a lot done at the house :) No earth shattering plans, just getting small stuff done around the house for company!
I don't think I wrote this- but Greg came away from the ultrasound with the impression that it was a boy and I had the impression of a girl! She did not have us "look away" when she took pictures of the private parts, so we saw them and didn't even know it! Greg thinks she took a picture and labeled it "other leg" (she didn't give us that picture) so he thought that was the- you know----- other leg. BAHAHA But she did take one and label it CSV3 or something, don't even bother googling it, because I know that wasn't the exact letters or numbers.
But, from the picture, I think it looks like a boy, Rick, my boss said it has a "big brain" so it's a boy. Riiight.
Our friends are convinced this will not be the last for us, that we will have 13 kids or something. HA no way. But who knows. Never say never!

Ultrasound Pictures!

Well- we were late for the ultrasound, which made me super nervous!! I was worried she would rush through it and not take good pictures. TURNS OUT- it didn't matter because the machine they have at the Gwinnett facility is a lot older than the one at the cresent center, where Macy's ultrasound was done- which is why I have always thought I had SUCH a good time and was able to see Macy so well- it was just a better machine!! So that is a TOTAL bummer. If I had known I would have made the drive to get the good pictures. Oh well- it's done now!! Sorry the pictures are a little crooked, they are pretty wrinkled! The lady did a good job of labeling, so you should be able to make out what most of the pictures are of.
I started with the best- the profile picture. In person, I did not think that this baby's profile looked like Macy's did at 20 weeks! :) Different nose and chin.

The baby is breech(!) so hopefully no torticollis this time. At 20 weeks Macy was head down and stayed that way the whole time.

Foot calf thigh and "umbilical cord" I can't make out anything from these pictures as far as the sex goes!

You can see the hand really well in this one.

I could make this one out in person, but on this picture I can not figure it out :)

Baby C had its legs up over it's head! :)

pretty cool huh?

It's mouth was opening constantly, practicing swallowing. And possibly sleeping like Daddy (Macy had an open mouth too :) )

The feet are at the right side of the black circle. toes pointing left

I see legs but can't make out anything else!
The lips are directly above the text

Looking straight on

So what are your guesses?! :)

Thoughts, prayers, all of the above!

Today is a big day! We could find out the sex today- but we won't!! I just can't wait to see it!!! Today has been a bad day, but I am still in such a good mood because I can't wait until 5:30!

This was Macy at 20 weeks :)
I'm sure I will be sharing pictures tomorrow :) Pray that the baby is healthy, has plenty of amniotic fluid, the placenta is in a good place and that I am really 22 weeks!! HAHA
